Ello family and friends,
here we are again! It's unbelievable to see how quickly time has passed as it feels like I ran last year's race not too long ago. It was an amazing experience and it was great to see everyone rallying together to raise scholarship funds for orphans.
I have the privilege of participating in this year's Oak Tree Run as well! I'm excited to run and use these muscles that the good Lord has given me to help raise awareness for the Oak Tree Project. An organization that will be supporting 16 orphans this year, not only financially, but emotionally and spiritually. These orphans are so precious and have so much to offer, but because of their given circumstances the odds are against them. But we can turn the tables together my friends.
Wouldn't you like to see them getting the education that they deserve? They deserve a bright and happy future as much as the next kid. I'll be running to help them see this through and you can join with me in this race and support the cause!
You can do so by:
1. Keeping these children in your thoughts and prayers.
2. Sharing with people you know about the Oak Tree Project and help raise awareness of the need of scholarship funds for these orphans.
3. Sending over a love offering. If you feel called to provide for these children financially, then please click the donate button that is located somewhere on this screen.
What'll you get out of it?
A thumbs up from the G-man upstairs, the satisfying feeling of knowing that you're making a difference in these orphans lives and of course a huge hug from me ^-^
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
I'm ecstatic to get this ball rolling.
many many blessings,
Carolie

Oak Tree Run 2015 소개
On Saturday, October 17, 2015, Oak Tree Project will be partnering with a race for underprivileged children in Korea to raise funds for scholarships for orphans in South Korea. Orphans in Korea are on their own after they graduate from high school and many struggle to get by financially and emotionally. It is especially difficult for those who get into college who have to work while studying. The stress and loneliness leads to depression and desperation for many, which can lead to prostitution, joining gangs, or even suicide. Oak Tree Project is a scholarship and mentoring program designed to not just help the orphans have funds through college, but to also receive the emotional support and guidance they need to succeed. Our goal for this race is to raise $90,000 for our current 16 scholarship recipients ($6,000 per student). To find out more about the Oak Tree Project, please visit www.oaktreeproject.com.
