About This Fundraiser

Hey y'all! I'm running for the kids again this year to give more Korean orphans a chance to go to college and become established in society. I'd love it if you'd consider giving $5 or $10 bucks to the cause! Or if you're a big spender, $100??

Oak Tree Project currently has 15 students on scholarship and hopes to expand to 30 students in 2016. One scholarship is $6,000 per student. Check out more about Oak Tree Project here! http://www.oaktreeproject.com/

About Oak Tree Run 2015

On Saturday, October 17, 2015, Oak Tree Project will be partnering with a race for underprivileged children in Korea to raise funds for scholarships for orphans in South Korea. Orphans in Korea are on their own after they graduate from high school and many struggle to get by financially and emotionally. It is especially difficult for those who get into college who have to work while studying. The stress and loneliness leads to depression and desperation for many, which can lead to prostitution, joining gangs, or even suicide. Oak Tree Project is a scholarship and mentoring program designed to not just help the orphans have funds through college, but to also receive the emotional support and guidance they need to succeed. Our goal for this race is to raise $90,000 for our current 16 scholarship recipients ($6,000 per student). To find out more about the Oak Tree Project, please visit www.oaktreeproject.com.
