Jee & MyeongJin kids' Fundraiser for OTR
This fundraiser supports Oak Tree Run 2017
About This Fundraiser
Oak Tree Project is a scholarship/mentorship program for the college students who grew up in children’s homes in South Korea. As a staff of Oak Tree Program, I am blessed that I have seen students finding hope and dreaming bigger for their future being a part of Oak Tree Project. Currently we have 21 students in this program and we hope to have 27 students next year. Last year we raised 3 scholarships through Oak Tree Run and it is our desire to raise 4 scholarships through the run this year. I know that your little gift can go a long way in the lives of children!

About Oak Tree Run 2017
On Saturday, October 21, 2017, Oak Tree Project will be holding our 3rd annual Oak Tree Run to raise funds for scholarships for orphans in South Korea. Orphans in Korea are on their own after they graduate from high school and many struggle to get by financially and emotionally. It is especially difficult for those who get into college who have to work while studying. The stress and loneliness leads to depression and desperation for many, which can lead to prostitution, joining gangs, or even suicide. Oak Tree Project is a scholarship and mentoring program designed to not just help the orphans have funds through college, but to also receive the emotional support and guidance they need to succeed.
