About This Fundraiser

Hi everyone! I'm doing well in SKorea! On October 21st I will be part of a run that supports Oak Tree Project (the part of Jerusalem Ministry that serves college orphans).
Oak Tree Project is a scholarship program for orphans that are in college. The Project provides mentors to guide the students in some ways they may need (i.e. emotionally, spiritually.) This run is raise funds for the students entering the new school year. 100% of the funds will go to the students in the program. There are now 21 students in the program and they hope to continue to add students and mentors. My goal is to raise $300! If you are willing and able, would you partner with me in raising support for this run?

About Oak Tree Run 2017

On Saturday, October 21, 2017, Oak Tree Project will be holding our 3rd annual Oak Tree Run to raise funds for scholarships for orphans in South Korea. Orphans in Korea are on their own after they graduate from high school and many struggle to get by financially and emotionally. It is especially difficult for those who get into college who have to work while studying. The stress and loneliness leads to depression and desperation for many, which can lead to prostitution, joining gangs, or even suicide. Oak Tree Project is a scholarship and mentoring program designed to not just help the orphans have funds through college, but to also receive the emotional support and guidance they need to succeed.
